YTDemia is a learning platform designed to help users organize, annotate, and track educational content from YouTube. Features of the Service include, but are not limited to:

• Creating timestamped notes and annotations for video content.
• Tracking user progression through selected educational materials.
• Generating AI-powered summaries of video transcripts, subject to tier-based usage limits.

3. User Accounts and Security

To access certain features of the Service (such as cloud synchronization and AI summaries), you may be required to register for an account. By creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features or AI usage limitations of the Service.
• Use automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to access, copy, or monitor any portion of the Service.
• Upload, transmit, or distribute any harmful, disruptive, or malicious code (such as viruses or malware).

5. Intellectual Property Rights

Service Content: The Service and its original content (excluding User Content and YouTube Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of itzmrz and its licensors.

User Content: You retain all applicable ownership rights to the notes, courses, and other specific inputs you create on the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display the content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you.

Third-Party Content: YTDemia utilizes the standard YouTube IFrame API to embed and display videos. All such videos remain the property of their respective creators and YouTube (Google LLC). We claim no ownership over any YouTube content. If you are actively logged into your Google or YouTube account in your web browser, YouTube may store your viewing history of content played on our Service. Video playback is entirely subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service utilizes third-party Large Language Models via OpenRouter to generate summaries. AI-generated outputs are provided for informational and convenience purposes only. Due to the nature of machine learning, these summaries may contain inaccuracies, misinterpretations, or factual errors ("hallucinations"). You agree that you will independently verify any critical information derived from AI summaries against the original video content and that itzmrz shall bear no liability for any reliance placed upon AI-generated outputs.

7. Service Tiers and Subscriptions

Free Tier: Users receive access to core platform features (course organization, note-taking) and a strictly limited daily allowance of AI-generated summaries.

Paid Tiers (Pro): Premium subscriptions unlock unlimited AI summaries and additional advanced features. We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing, features, and resource limits at our sole discretion, with reasonable notice provided to active subscribers.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

We do not warrant that exactly (a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location; (b) any errors or defects will be corrected; (c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or (d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall itzmrz, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
